How Can I Be Saved?
The decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will be the most important decision of your life. This decision is not based on how good you are, or how old you are, or how smart you are. It is based entirely on faith in Jesus, accepting Him as your Savior, and trusting Him completely to lead you through your life. He becomes #1.
Can you answer "Yes" to the following questions?
- Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He loved you so much He died on the cross to save you from your sins?
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
- Do you believe you are sinful and want to repent of your sins?
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
"But unless you repent, you too will...perish" Luke 13:3
- Do you believe, love, and trust Jesus to be the Lord (in control) of your life?
"To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
- Do you want to confess your belief in Christ publicly? Do you want others to know that you love Jesus?
"So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:32
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
If you answered "yes" to the above 4 questions, you are ready to make your decision!
"Now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2
We urge you to pray this prayer to God:
"O God, I acknowledge that I have sinned against You. I am sorry for my sins. I am willing to turn from my sins. I receive and confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. From this moment on, I want to live for Him and serve Him for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
